Why Help?
We can't begin to express the depth of our gratitude. Every bit of help counts, and we make every bit go as far as it possibly can towards bringing our music, through the truth of our hearts, into the world.
As musicians (and filmmakers and writers and artists and dreamers and thinkers and jokesters and gigglers etc.), we have put a tremendous amount of time and love to come to this point in spacetime in which we fully believe in the music we have to offer. Individually, we've both been writing and studying music since we were wee ones, and have discovered a beautiful collaboration in one another. We thank all the people (and ancestors and animals and plants and stories and spirits and songs) who have inspired, encouraged and helped us along the way. Thank you.
We are committed to taking this leap of faith and sharing our gifts with the world. We plan to regularly release songs and videos for as long as we can envision. We plan to share live performances and offer other extras. We will do more music videos; we have some amazing ideas that we are so excited to share. In addition, we hope to accomplish our first tour upon the completion of our album.
We've also started the rewarding and inspiring journey of donating our time and talent at hospitals and other healing places, as an offering to those who really need help, with thanks for all that we have been given in this life. And eventually, we hope to build a studio where we can support and share more positive and powerful music by other kind-hearted musicians.
Our current projects express the hope and belief we carry in our spirits as we do our best to stand up strong in this life.
Asking
We have never been ones to ask for help. However, through experiencing and witnessing some of the challenges that life can bring, in addition to experiencing and witnessing the miracles that can happen when the community comes together in answering a humble call for help, we have learned of the power of asking. Giving and receiving help is a beautiful and holy part of being alive.
We are asking for help, so that we can help.
We have been told by so many of you about how much our music has helped. Some of you tell us how you sing and share and teach our songs to others, or invite us to sing for your loved ones who are experiencing a challenge. We are so touched and honored by your appreciation, and to be of service in this way.
We have given so much to this dream. We have put our hearts and spirits— the best of what we have— into this music, these songs, these videos. We have sacrificed comfort and convenience and other endeavors in pursuit of this dream. And we are glad we have, because we fully believe in what we have to offer.
