Good Things Will Come

The Video

A video prayer for our great Mother Earth, for our beautiful rivers and the life-bringing fish, and for all of us!

That includes you, your heart and spirit, and the land you care about. We made the video at a river who would like to speak. She is a leader river. She is the site of the largest river restoration project in history. For over a century, she was blocked by two impenetrable dams that made salmon passage 100% impossible. And then, the dams were blown up, and the salmon – patient and determined through generations – immediately returned, swiftly reviving the entire ecosystem. The land was scarred, but it is healing. This is the voice of the river. This is the video that she wants to share through us. And her message is that life comes back. Mother Nature can regenerate. And so can we. Never give up. Good things will come. In this video, we sing on the mountain top, where the holy water flow begins. We dance with joy on the old dam sites, no longer blocked, but free and true. We sing with gratitude in the scars of the land as they heal. We dance with faith on the tongue of the river, where the river meets the sea- our positive words and prayers and messages are powerful and will be heard. We dance with belief through the smoke of wildfires. And we sing and dance with reverence before the ocean – knowing that our prayers for water are prayers for all water, as all water is connected on this one great planet. And we humbly honor the enduring spirit of the salmon, who inspire us every day with their determination as they overcome obstacles to pave the way for their progeny. Whose healing spirit lasted through generations of salmon, so that a salmon who had never seen the river with their own eyes were ready to repopulate it after over a century, and bring hope and nourishment to the entire ecosystem. We believe in the regeneration of the earth, and of our spirits. We can all heal and rediscover our true nature. We can all have hope. We pray and support from our corner of the world. Like the water, we are all connected.
